If you missed the Four Lakes Task Force webinar on January 22, you can view it at this link. Construction status at each dam was summarized and many questions were answered.

FLTF issued a News Flash (Feb 3, 2025) explaining the Tittabawassee River has returned to its natural path at the Sanford dam. Crews removed the cofferdams upstream and downstream of the dam that have kept the area dry while crews worked on the primary spillway and low-level outlet.

The News Flash also stated the importance of February 18, 2025. "If Heron Cove Association does not file an application for Leave to Appeal [by 2/18/25] FLTF can obtain financing for construction and dam restoration will resume." However, until there is an end to the Heron Cove Association legal challenges, FLTF cannot finance restoration.
